up to the old house i walked. it was a quiet night tonight. i looked up to see the bright moon lighting my way down the crooked path that led to the death eaters headquarters.

the tattoo on my arm burned. it felt wonderful. voldemort must have begun to summon the others. luckily i was on my way here anyway.

i was in the meeting room in a flash. i was quickly followed by the malfoys. their brat of a son wouldnt be here tonight. he was at hogwarts, with that potter boy. speaking of which, this meeting was about.

i could sense it. the dark lord was not here yet, but i knew it had to have something to do with potter. it usually did. ever since the prophecy had been revealed, voldemort was doing all he could to kill the boy.

"why bother?" i always thought. "he's just a stupid child.. he would never kill the dark lord. and since i killed his godfather, he has nothing to fight for."
