Re: The Word Game
If anyone really bothered to read the RULES I POSTED ON VERONICA'S SITE! (*COUGH* CRYSTAL *COUGH*) THEN THEY WOULD HAVE READ THAT -
Just cuz we're bored,.
now for a quick summary of the game:
I'll start by saying that anyone who is familiar with the concept of "word association" can skip this part and go to the next header
the game starts with the host (me), choosing a word, the next person to post then says another word that somehow relates to the previous words meaning...if that was worded alittle awkwardly, don't worry, here's an example:
Starting word: fish
Bob says: water
Gary says: ice
Bob says: Titanic
and so on and so on...
Rules:
Oxymorons are not accepted
quite simply, you cant say that a word is related to another word because they are opposites ie. if you look at the example above, if Gary had said "fire" instead of "ice" the word would be demed invalid and thusly ignored
relationships must be factual when involving proper nouns
if your going to use a person, place, or any other proper noun, the relationship between the noun and the previous word must be based off of a proven fact
No racial slurs or ethnic association
try to keep the game clean, don't use ethnicity as relation for anything whatsoever
-------
NO OXYMORONS
current word : sweet tea.
which honestly I shouldn't accept either because it is actually two words instead of one, but i'll let it slide to get the game going.
